He is a great player, but I think that our run game is WAY more efficient giving the main carries to Ingram, and having K Robinson run from time to time. I think that Lewis being able to play and PT being out are 2 big reasons that we will win this game on Saturday.

Yeah unfortunately I tend to agree. I'm Pierre's biggest fan, but for some reason when he's involved, we just don't stick to the run. With Ingram and Robinson, you know it's gonna be smash mouth.

I love the way Ingram has been running lately. We're gonna need every bit of that Saturday

But who is going to take it to the house off the halfback screen pass?

I would prefer to have pieere back. The run game has been revitalized the last month. He was running well and his ability on the screen is 2nd to none

I'm really wondering if CSP pulled Ingram aside before the playoffs started and told him "If you really want to stick around this team you have to show us something this postseason"

If Ingram can continue playing like he did against the Eagles I'm afraid Pierre will be the one who's days are numbered

One of our top dynamic players in this offense. And most of y'all don't want him to play. Smart smart

Pierre is this team's best running back; we won despite his absence, not because of it.

I think what it forced Payton to do was get off his tendencies. He tipped his hand a lot with personnel and formations.

If PT would have been playing last week with the way the line was blocking he would have had more yards than Ingram. Yall crazy.

Negative. Thomas has taken a lot of snaps this year, and he's been slowing down. Ingram is the better runner right now. I love Thomas, but he doesn't have the physical gifts Ingram has. Thomas has excellent balance and field vision, but he's has his physical limitations.

PT had like 3.8 YPC on the year, Ingram had 4.9

Not 100% sure on the numbers but you get the idea

I don't want him to play because I don't want Payton to fall back into old habits. It's not an indictment on PT. He also needs to get healthy.

Yeah I couldn't disagree more with that. Ingram and Khiry have fresh legs and are 5+ years younger than Pierre. I love Pierre as a saint but like pat said CSP actually stuck to the run this week. I'd much rather see the extra carries right up the gut getting us 5 on first down than Brees throwing into the dirt on more screen plays because the defenses have kind of gotten wise to some of our screen game.

Also Pierre has run for well under 3 ypc since the Atl game. A change was definitely needed.

How many times this year have you been able to accurately call the play pre-snap after seeing the formation? And we're just fans, not pros studying film. It was a huge factor that hampered our productivity, and it's one of the reason's we got blown out so bad. Sure, sometimes the defense knows what's coming and they can't stop it, but football is a fast game, and if you're tipping your plays pre-snap, you're doing the defense's work for them.

Think alot of people dont want him to play based on how well we ran against the worst run defense in the league. Those holes wont be there this week.

You do know that philly gave up less yards than Seattle did on the ground this year right?

Eta: I was wrong

Seattle 1626 (tied for 7th)
Philly 1671 (10tg against run)

so there was a whopping 3 yards per game difference between them
Either way, you're WAY off
