The Tennessee angle would be very interesting. Even more hate into that rivalry. Makes sense to me.

I think he could be solid as an OC and great as a recruiter but would he be there more than a year? Can't see the personalities working. Both are pricks with Kiffin being one with the "golden boy" attitude added to his prickness. I think the chemistry angle is more important than his possible benefits.

I honestly don't know how this guy keeps getting hired. He must interview well.

Quick Tennessee fans... Tell us again about the drunk driving incident he got in that was swept under the rug. Bama fans need to know the story of their fantastic new OC

Only a Bama fan could say he had us going in the right direction.

He had them going in a better direction then Dooley did. At least Kiffin recorded a season above .500 while he was there.

There's too much ego in that equation. It would never factor out quite right.

Yes, he was better than Derek Dooley, and I'd also rather drink spoiled milk than eat dog shite.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Only time will tell. Elation on either side of the coin is based off of preconceived notions and cognitive bias. Kiffin may well be a disaster, and he may well be a force. Those who claim to know definitively for either case are simply wishing one way or the other.

I can't say Kiffin would have definitely won here, but he certainly was not doing poorly while he was at Tennessee.

Sark was the coach. Kiffy and EdO are the bagmen.
