This season is a loss. The quicker we all accept it, the better

But the manuevering required to get a top 3 pick is pretty unrealistic. Dumping Gordon is both doable and desirable, but you'd also have to shut down Holiday and Tyreke. Monty won't tank only to get fired, and you obviously don't want to trade them for garbage, so is Demps going to hit them in the knee with a pipe?

Bruh. Our first round pick is top 3 protected.

ETA- oh I see what you're saying.

I would assume we will have more injuries and more not caring players

1993 Orlando Magic 41–41 (11th-worst) 1 (out of 66) 1.52%

2008 Chicago Bulls 33–49 (9th-worst) 17 (out of 1000) 1.70%

2011 Los Angeles Clippers 32–50 (8th-worst) 28 (out of 1000) 2.80%

just sayin

But not caring is part of the problem. Tyresus doesn't care that there are defenders at the rim, he scores anyway. He and AD alone are probably enough to keep us from finishing bottom 4 which is the minimum I'd be comfortable with if the goal were to tank.

Not that we'll be anywhere around the pick but Embiid would be the obvious choice.

I can't believe how depressing this season has become (for now at least).

And can someone confirm with an authentic source whether the pick is top 5 or 3 protected?
