And can someone confirm with an authentic source whether the pick is top 5 or 3 protected?

** The Sixers received a (top 5 protected) pick from the Pelicans along with Nerlens Noel in the Holiday deal. So in short, the Sixers want the Pelicans to miss out on the playoffs (in order to insure a lottery pick), but not be too bad (so that the pick falls out of the top 5. The logic here is that the Sixers will have their own lottery pick (hopefully somewhere between 1-5), and a pick from the Pelicans (hopefully between 6-14).

Actually there was some early conflicting info on top 3 or 5.

Either way, I see us coming up short.

What position does Randle actually play? He reminds me a lil bit of Zach Randolph.

Right now, I think I'd take Parker. He's the most NBA ready.

I personally love embiid. He's a bit of a project at this point but has incredible hands and quick feet for a player his size and already has a great frame. He also has good form on his shot similar to Davis in college.

I think Randle will be #1. I like Parker the most outside of him though.

They were debating yesterday on PTI that Parker, may sit out 2 years to do some global mission. If we were in position to draft him, would anyone still take him knowing he wouldn't be playing until 2016?
