Coach SP thinks it'll happen at some point. With this winning franchise he could look stellar. I wish him nothing but the best and for him to meet his aspirations. I just want him here in New Orleans for a long time though.

I think Rex is ruining his chances by missing the playoffs for 3 years and having no idea how to put together a competent offense. Just like their daddy.

Equating him to Rex or buddy is flat out dumbassery. I just hope he stays here and remains our DC. Maybe he knows that's his element.

He's won one playoff game as a coordinator, I think most GM's will want a larger sample size of him winning consistently with his defense. I'm sure he'll get interviews but I don't think there is gonna be anything serious after this year.

Don't forget, this was potentially his last stop as a DC if it didn't work out here.

Possibly. Similar to John Chavis. If you got a good thing going, why change it?

Rob may not even desire to be a head coach. He's a loose, laid back dude. You can tell he loves his job and his players. Might not want anymore responsibility than what he had. Let my defense go out, kick some arse, and let the chips fall where they may

If SP thinks it'll happen, who am I to question it....however, I don't think Ryan is anywhere near being considered for an NFL head coaching job.

I seriously doubt a guy content to drive around in an astro van has aspirations to become an nfl head coach.

I hope he stays too. But I GUARANTEE that there are a lot of people in the NFL who won't touch him with a 10-foot pole as a head coach because they they look at Buddy and Rex and don't want the bravado, media circus, and offensive ineptitude that is associated with them.

And yet, every one of those people would have no problem whatsoever with having him as the DC.

I wonder if a college team would go after him. He used to be the DC at Oklahoma State.

This

There are a lot of openings, but there are also better candidates IMO.

I guess I'm unaware of the "media circus" Rob Ryan draws. He draws praise, that's for sure.
