why only get 2 years out of him when you can 3? Almost 0% chance he stays all 4 years.

No...he has 3 years most likely. No sense in a redshirt for a 5 star recruit these days, not with his expectations anyway. I doubt there is anyone in the country that could convince that kid to sit a year. He is dead set on doing big things.

You can't win the Heisman while being red shirted.

No way this kid is a better runner than Hill next season... and Macgee has earned his totes as well... unless we run the Wing T or Triple... Fournette won't see a ton of carries... is it smarter to keep some tread on his tires til after Hill leaves?

He will have carries, and he will ball out.

I'm basically trying to tell you that I highly doubt it. Leonard won't allow it. The kid wants to play. So unless he just isn't all he's cracked up to be once they hit camp...he's playing.

Bet you thought Russell Shephard would throw a forward pass at LSU and that The FREAK would be All American as a Frosh too... you guys and your expectations based on H.S. game tape and arbitrary stars........

I get that this kid is gangbusters... and will be the next Shaun Alexander in the SEC... but at the same time the jump from H.S. to College is a big one (especially in the SEC).

Do you think Les would redshirt Fournette if Hill came back? I think it would pay dividends even though it meant only having Fournette for 2 years as a starter.

There is no way this is serious.

And I bet you're a moron. Want to know how I know? You want to redshirt Leonard Fournette.

You don't realize how stupid you sound right now.

LF is the best HS RB prospect since Adrian Peterson. He is one of the few players in the history for HS football that a scout could reasonably make a case for going straight into the NFL - he is that good, Goose.

If he went to the combine this year, he would probably be close to the top rated back on measurements alone. He is 6'1 226 lbs and runs a legit low 4.4s. He ran a 10.6 100 meter in high school track at that weight. He runs with strength, lateral agility, acceleration and vision.

You starting to get the picture?

LF is the Patrick Peterson of RB recruits....except better. PP was the best CB prospect since Champ Bailey.

The learning curve is zilch to play CFB for LF.

Here is a few highlights from his 2013 season. LINK

Guys nothing is absolutely certain. It's dangerous to completely sell out on any player. BUT that being said this one certainly isn't a big stretch at all. Just take one minute to look at his film and you see an absolute stud, work-horse, and physical specimen. FEED HIM AND HILL THE ROCK!
