Been the worst BCS league, even since expansion their new teams have done basically nothing. Spare me the 10 out of 12 teams making bowls just b/c they are all 6-6. But FSU has never been the typical ACC school in terms of football.

I've always thought the ACC has the potential to be great. FSU, UM, Clemson, the teams are there to form a great conference. Not sure why they suck so bad for the most part.

Damn sure wasn't gonna be a Big 10 team.

Coaching, and basketball schools for the most part.

Florida State has athletes though, it's so obvious, what makes SEC teams is their athleticism and FSU matches the SEC in that department, in fact they're more stacked than every SEC team.

In football Clemson and FSU are built like SEC teams though. Their problem has historically been losing focus and games they shouldnt.

Now if you told me it was Boston College or Virginia knocking them off then id be shocked. But Clemson and FSU fit the mold to me.

This FSU squad is the best team the ACC has produced in years, obviously. And let's be honest, while well coached, this Auburn team is probably the weakest representative the SEC has sent to the championship game in the BCS era.

We just don't have a lot of talent or depth in some key areas and we have a very inconsistent QB that just flat out cannot hit wide open WRs in stride.

To make it as far as we did was amazing and speaks volumes about the heart of this team.

Florida State was just the best team in the nation.

Not exactly known for physicality or defense.

Uh... Auburn is the first team who punched FSU in the mouth all year.

FSU's SOS wasn't exactly tough...

LSU 2007 was pretty weak. The year nobody wanted to play for the title.

Neither was the SEC this year. Defenses sucked all year.

ETA: Auburn gave up 21 points in the 4th tonight.

I guess you never heard of the Big East Conference. By the way, FSU did go to the first three BCS championship games and won one of them.

Give that team a healthy Dorsey and they beat this Auburn team by 3-4 TDs.

it'll be scary if Gus gets a good throwing QB in there to run his offense. It really is amazing how good they did this year with a converted DB

The big east was better than the ACC esp in BCS games

the school that carried the ACC while FSU and Clemson were down was VT, yea thats legit.

Auburn returns 20 starters next year I think. They'll be right back in the thick of it.
