Not exactly known for physicality or defense.

Been the worst BCS league, even since expansion their new teams have done basically nothing. Spare me the 10 out of 12 teams making bowls just b/c they are all 6-6. But FSU has never been the typical ACC school in terms of football.

Still hurt about being left out of the club?

Hope you're having fun in the Big 12!

LSU 2007 was pretty weak. The year nobody wanted to play for the title.

Makes my point. The one year the SEC puts a "weak" team out there, the Big10 still got destroyed.

The Big East was technically good with the U winning the title and WVU fielding a few good teams, along with Petrino's Louisville team. Also Vick's VT team.

I think people just remember it as bad because it fielded some shitty arse teams a lot of years. (UConn, Pitt, Syracuse)

I think where the SEC has outpaced the rest of the conferences in the last decade is coaching talent, especially when we had Urban. Even our coordinators turn into some of the best head coaches in the nation - like Charlie Strong and Gus Malzahn.

As the rest of the football world coughs up money that advantage will go away. I predict a lot more parity in the future. May take a few years to get there, but the playoffs will prove to be a much better system to decide the best team.
