A couple of years ago we asked an O-line recruit to greyshirt and ended up at Rayburn. Does anyone remember his name? Just curious as to whether he's playing tonight.

Patrick Miller, and it wasn't a grey shirt, we gave his early enroll spot to Gunner Kiel, who never showed.

Patrick Miller. He's undersized but good. It's doubtful he would have started over Alexander or Hawkins

He would have started no question. The guy was awesome and a huge recruit and played early at Auburn.

Wasn't a greyshirt, he wanted to E.E. and we didnt have enough spots so we asked him to wait until summer and he went and signed with Auburn.

Still dont understand out of all the E.E.'s we had why they asked Miller to hold off.

Ronnie Feist, Lamar Louis and Reid Ferguson were just a few other E.E.'s we had that year...

Patrick Miller is huge. He started against LSU, but is not playing tonight. I believe he was injured a few games back.

Their left tackle is from the Houma area I believe. He came out the same year as La'el Collins. He's a projected top 10 pick and after this game I think he's gonna push Matthews (A&M) for the top pick.

Greg Robinson - went to Thibodaux High. I think he and Travon Reed both left for Auburn the same year. But he never was grey shirted at LSU. OP is talking about Patrick Miller.

You must not watch them much. He was their worst linemen last year. While Alexander had the bad game against Clemson, he did pretty good the remainder of the year when healthy. Made freshman All American and All-SEC

Plus Miller has trouble putting on weight. He weighs around 280 and is one of the lightest tackles in the SEC. Auburns scheme negates some of that, but he would be too lightweight on LSU's pro style.

yea, it sure does seem to happen a lot. He still pulls his fair share of lineman. If only we could take them all...
