Does anyone typically have good luck deer hunting when the weather is freezing? The past few years when it has been frozen I haven't had any luck at all. Im trying to decide if I want to give it a go or not

Never kill anything sitting at the house, no matter what the weather is.

Whenever it's below freezing where i hunt, the deer usually start moving after the sun has been out. Around 9:00 A.M.

I'm tempted to go out late in the morning and set up a ground blind and hang out till noon. Deer are gonna have to move at some point

Of course, if I don't see shite ill wish I had been out there at daylight.

I find on days like this I like to hunt a cutover with a few hillsides that catch the sun early. The deer seem to congregate there. Myself I am taking Tuesday off of work, thinking that will be the day to be out.

Yea been trying to decide if I'm gonna set up my ground blind on a dozer road in the middle of clear cut or in the swamp on the edge of high water
