Can the former NBA All Stars beat the current North Korean all stars?

Should they even try? I'm not sure that they'll all be coming home if they win.
Rodman leads a team that includes former NBA All-Stars Kenny Anderson, Cliff Robinson, and Vin Baker. Craig Hodges, Doug Christie and Charles D. Smith are on the team, as well. They will play against a top North Korean Senior National team on Jan. 8, marking Kim Jong Un’s birthday.

Not if they know what's good for them.

Vin Baker? is he trying to beat Kim Jong-Il's Cognac drinking record?

Kim Jung Un is a huge fan of 90s basketball. When he was at his $70,000/year Swiss boarding school in the late 90s/early 2000s under an assumed name, he used to play NBA Jam and watch Bulls games at 4 o'clock in the morning (seriously). He is probably over the moon that these 45 year old guys like Baker, Robinson, Christie, and Anderson will be playing in front of him.
As it usually is the case, the foreigners will be treated like kings and the Korean basketball players will likely be punished for losing.

They could. Then we'd see this headline: "Former NBA stars held hostage in North Korea."
Why would you want to voluntarily go to North Korea? I understand that it's a very unique experience but the cons are pretty drastic. The leader just fed his uncle to starved dogs.

Baker is very lucky that alcohol and pot are freely used in North Korea (although apparently their pot is very weak). I am very interested to see how he will play. Can he last 10 minutes?
Most of the other guys are probably in pretty decent shape, but I am expecting Baker to pull a Mike Sweetney

Isn't Vin Baker the world's fattest and drunkest man now?

Regardless of the outcome the headline that comes from NK news agency is going to be
"Dear Leader suits up after injuries to rest of team and goes 50/50 from three point range to beat USA single handedry"
