Might be a stupid question, but oh well, it is intriguing to me.

To protect myself from the OMG onoz and here we go people , I'm really just asking since almost all of these guys we are going after are NSD. It's my first year following recruiting this close and was wondering do we usually have this many spots open and this many guys we are really in the mix for on NSD? IMO if we lock up 1-2 more DTs, Dupre, and Kelly Jr/surprise, I'm fine and I think it's a great class.

With early decisions next year and the EEs this year, we could be looking at maybe a 30+ limit class next year and it is some really great guys out there again.

jmo, but it's going to be tough. other than Dupree and valentine, i'm not sure who we really have a legit shot at....maybe young, but there's also a chance we lose clark.

I think its a fair question and that we also may not hit 25. As long as we fill a few more holes I think that's ok though. Landing Dupre and Valentine would be huge.

I doubt it. We would have to take fillers or really hit the jackpot. Doubt we hit the jackpot or take fillers. Maybe a filler or 2 but not enough to fill up. I'm ok with thst to. Makes it easier to stay at ir under 85 and would give more spots next year when we have a fresh start

I prefer quality over quantity. Sign the guys we want, take walk-ons and save the schollys for next year.

Pretty sure the answer to that is yes. They can't get the scholly until the next year though.

I think this is being severely ovrrlooked because of the expectations of this class. This class is better than some we have had in the past 5 years. The programs demise is grossly overstated

you can book it LSU will sign 5-6 players that will never play a down of football this year.

Show me a single class in the country, any other school, where this doesn't happen. ANY class, ever. I'll wait. You will be awhile.

I think it is possible, here are some of most likely prospects:

WR - Malachi Dupree - 82.3%
DT - Trevonte Valentine - 80%
DE/DT - Breeland Speaks - 50%
OT Derrick Kelly or E Robriquez - 50%
OLK - Kenny Young - 40%
DE Lorenzo Carter - 40%
DE/DT - Gerald Willis - 20%

Dupre-80%
Valentine-45%
Speaks-50%
OT- 50%
Young-10%
Carter-0%
Willis-0%

I didn't say other programs do it nor do I care. I am an LSU fan I care about LSU. I don't care if Alabama or auburn or Georgia or anyone signs 25 players a year that never play a down of football so the point about other programs do it is a moot point to me. All the sunshine pumpers that look through purple and gold glasses that thought every LA kid was a lock needs to realize this will be a trend for LA kids to leave the state. I was just simply stating that LSU would sign 5-6 players that will have zero impact.

Now we need to put age restrictions on this board, awesome

So every recruiting class by every other school is history does something, but its only a problem at LSU. What a joke

Bennie Logan, Lamin Barrow, Jacob Hester, and so on, would have fit into your category too.

But keep on bashing potential players because they are not highly rated and proving how big of a tiger fan you really are.

Why do you keep harping on other schools? I don't care about them. I care about LSU.

So it happens at every school every year... Why bitch about it then?? Not every guy you offer a scholarship turns out to be a stud. And everyone knows that. And it happens at every single school in the country every year. You cant prevent it from happening. So why are you making that such a big point?

When did I bitch about anything? I stated my opinion that's it. I have come to live with it. Obviously some haven't
