I seriously doubt this dude has any difficulty getting that last credit. Do y'all know how easy that is to get? I think this is real bad news for us. Unless we're lucky and he just used Golden's rumors as an excuse to commit to us...
Otherwise, this fricking sucks. No momentum in recruiting at all right now to roll out a few strong NSD signings.

What was he telling recruits before he flirted with PSU? Credibility may be a factor.

We need to start going after these guys hard BEFORE instate talent we thought were "locks" go somewhere else. We would be in a much better position.

Yea and he always mentions Golden. That last credit as easy as hell to get. He could sign with Miami on NSD, work on that credit this semester and if he doesn't get it, all he has to do is take a short correspondence course over the summer. You can do those on your own time and finish it within a few weeks. They count as HS credits too and are easy as shite to finish. At least you can in Louisiana...I'm not sure how it works in Florida.

Because it's what he said from his own mouth...Golden is the reason he was thinking about leaving. The academic angle is overplayed and I'm pretty sure Florida has plenty of leniency just like Louisiana in grabbing an easy HS credit for a foreign language. I have a hard time believing that academic requirement is going to stop him from enrolling at Miami. It's not like this dude has a 2.0 GPA.

Or maybe he wants to leave home (seen that before) and is looking for an out to escape the pressure from staying home? Wouldn't academics and an uncertain coaching situation do just that?

He decommitted yesterday and said LSU is his leader. What more do you want? Before that he was committed anyway so it seems a bit dramatic to be this heartbroken over him already.

Yes and I'm hoping that's what happens. I'm just going on what he himself has said. Everything up until he dropped them seemed like he was all Miami if he could get his academic situation settled. I guess we'll find out soon enough...
