I'm thinking about opening a snowball stand close to town center this summer.Trying to get some feed back on what you want in a good snowball stand and stuff like that. Also wondering what permits and such i would need from the city.

We have 2 in the little town of Gramercy and they are a hit. That being said, how much walking traffic by kids and teens do you get? There's your business. Oh and nachos

All I can say is get a snowwizard or southern snow shaver (NOT Japanese), be very liberal with the syrup, keep your hours consistent and make sure your ice blocks are tempered correctly. And keep the damn blades very sharp.

Check with DHH FIRST and find out what foolishness they will require of you.
This will likely be your largest unexpected mind blowing expense.

I would think it would.
The one off Cedercreast and Old Hammond in the Reeves Grocery Store Shopping Center is always packed.
Just make sure you have two ice machines to go faster.
I think that snow cone machine that is made in New Orleans is the one everyone loves.
