With QT95 and CL91 possibly moving into the starting rotation, us most likely signing two DL this year, and the 8/9 DL we've signed very recently really doesn't have me worried about our defensive front. I do wish Ego would have come back.

I like your optimism. However, be prepared for disappointment. We will have virtually no experience at DT next season.

So because this guy is optimistic about DL situation next year, you think he's smoking something? Grow up.

They won't be worse than this year's group. They have a chance to be deeper and thus more effective

They have a chance to be. I think Lacouture is going to have a monster year.

Y'all said same bull shite before this season with 2 new starters. Delusional people on this board. Every off season we have the top players in nation at every position until the season starts. One guy who didn't do much and the other who didn't play much. Yea I'm excited!

Frank Herron and Tashawn Bower are going to surprise a lot of people next year.

This year we had depth issues I find because the the talent behind the starters were sophomores and freshmen. Everyone has another year in the system plus we didn't really lose a Bennie Logan type player so it's not like the drop off will be huge if there is one.

This year we has soft issues at DT!!!!! Getting blown off the line way too often...I was shocked at how ineffective they were...not going to mention names because I'm trying to stay positive...lol...
we should have 4 guys that can do as well as last year at least...but I've got a notion that the coaches are even more upset that we are...this coming year it's going to be"step up or step aside/out" time for marginal DTs...if Valentine comes with one more stud, I'll feel much better...cause the competition will help push things in the right direction

Well I will say, the Iowa game made me a little more confident. No Ego in that game and we did great vs those terds. (Yes I know its a big ten team, and freak balled out that game, and we have lost him, but give those those young guys an offseason before we judge too harshly)

I agree I think we will be much better on defense, with two all American type corners
