OSU and their schedule

Soooo....they FINALLY play a couple of good teams and lose them both. They even had several weeks to prepare for the Clemson game and still lost.
It seems safe to say if they had to play back to back teams with a pulse during the regular season they never would've been in any discussion regarding the title game.
I'm curious if they are a one loss conference champ next year if they get an opportunity to be a playoff team.
Let's say if we have:
1 loss SEC champ
1 loss big 12 champ
1 loss PAC 12 champ
Undefeated ACC champ
1 loss OSU big 10 champ
Big East champ...no care.
Does OSU and their name power get them in? I know this season has nothing to do with next year. However, many of us have voiced an opinion about the cream puff schedule they have beat their chest about and how they "deserve" a chance at the big time.
I would leave them out. I know...shocker.
What say you?
TL;DR....no care.

Information not enough. What are the SOS of the teams? What are their computer rankings?

Wait, so now Clemson is a good team? I thought the consensus was that they weren't because they hadn't played anyone all year.
That aside, I thought the ACC's bowl start was pretty bad, but looking at it now, it looks like most of the ACC teams that won were underdogs and the Big 10, minus MSU, has just stunk it up. Looks like the Big 10 and the ACC are actually very comparable to each other.

We have Navy, Virginia tech, Cindy and Kent state ooc next year. All bowl teams this year.

Too much work...
More than likely the sec, pac 12, and big 12 champs will all have a stronger SOS. It would be between the ACC and the big 10. ACC was undefeated in my scenario.
OSU has an overall stronger schedule next year. Depending on how good MSU is next year (and OSU obviously) there isn't much standing in their way.

so now Clemson is a good team
They certainly aren't mediocre. Compared to what OSU's schedule was the last 2 years they were a pretty good team. I give Clemson a lot of shite, like most, but they won so they deserve some credit. OSU has a lot of talent on that team.

You forgot Maryland, another bowl team. How many teams in D 1 go to a bowl game?

Your obsession with Ohio State has always amused me.

What's lsu's ooc schedule look like in 2014

It's pretty crappy. I think we play Wisconsin. We should be ashamed of ourselves.
The problem with OSU is that the rest of the BIG is sucking balls. LSU's conference slate is tough enough that we can play a shitty OOC slate and still have a schedule that is plenty respectable, but if OSU doesn't have a couple of big OOC games their schedule will be shite until the rest of the BIG gets their shite together.

This is kind of what everyone in the country says about Oregon
And why would a 1 loss B1G champ not get in over a 1 loss PAC 12 champ? Did the B1G champ beat the PAC champ or did I have a mistake there?

I don't think anyone could argue this.

I don't think the B1G is good, but it is hard to tell from the bowl tie-ins each conference has. They play each other in 1, and the B1G wont the matchup between the conferences champions
I don't think OSU gets left out if they are undefeated; especially after all the "eye test" experts are 0-4 in bowl game picks
Edit: I think (not 100% sure) the PAC had 2 bowl opponents ranked, the B1G had 5

You can say the same for Alabama. Just look at the past few years for example.
2010: Arkansas (W), South Carolina (L), LSU (L), Auburn (L) [1-3]
2011: Arkansas (W), LSU (L), LSU (W) [2-1]
2012: LSU (W), Texas A&M (L), Georgia (W), Notre Dame - meh (W) [3-1]
2013: Texas A&M (W), LSU (W), Auburn (L), Oklahoma (L) [2-2]
Ohio State lost to a great Michigan State team and a top 10 or so Clemson team.

Easily. The Pac 12 is the second best conference in the country and they aren nipping at the SEC's heals. The conference will only get that much better with Sark at USC and now Peterson at UDub.
The B1G is top heavy with Michigan State, Ohio State and Wisconsin with lots of mediocre teams (Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State, Iowa, Minnesota) sprinkled in.
