5 lbs ground deer
2 medium yellow onions
1 package REO chili seasoning
2 cans tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
2 cans kidney beans
1 can black beans
Enough water to cover good then cook down to desired consistency

Then season with additional stuff as needed

I also mixed a scoop of the liquid with a few spoonfuls of masa to thicken it up

Use a decent dark beer instead of water- I used Turbo Dog and Shiner before (not together, on 2 separate occasions) and it's been ood

The beer is a good tip. I didn't think about it until I had already added water
