LSU better pray that the injury bug stays away from the RB's because if my projections are correct we will start next season with two freshmen (Williams and Fornette) and Magee as the only RB,s. Depth on the defensive line is not the only depth issue on this team.

Great analysis but i have heard a few people I know from Patterson mention the Hilliard is planning to return for his degree so that would make 4. Then its dependant on Blue's decision

Hilliard said he was staying previously. Believe Alfred Blue said be wasn't going to use his other year of eligibility.

Yea, I thought I read on here about Hilliard before I had talked to my friends.

Hadn't seen anything about blue though. All i saw was him saying at senior day that he hadn't thought about it.

Was this supposed to be a bash Miles thread for having so few RBs?

don't think for a minute that other position players can't move to the rb postion and perform well behind this line if need be.

remember Justin Vincent?

OK, who on the present roster or committed to the 2014 class can play RB if need be? I just think LSU needs to look at some kids (RB's) who have not declared yet and use one of the remaining schollys to get another RB.

Darrell Williams is severely underrated by lsu "fan" star gazers.

Hilliard has no reason to leave. He won't get drafted and likely won't make an nfl roster

hilliard is one of those guys, kind of like turner, who can't improve his stock if he stays

when the reality of not competing for a title next year sets in, there aren't many reasons to stay (assuming he has his degree)

Devin Voorhies, maybe? Also, John Diarsee is listed as an athlete on DandyDon's site, so maybe him too?
