Maybe Hilliard just loves it at LSU. I remember Todd Kinchen saying he would stay 10 more years if they let him. LOL!

Could Fobbs play some RB? He'd be a good receiver out of the backfield, maybe.

He has 2 good reasons to leave.

1. He has his degree
2. Fournette and Magee are going to take away most of his carries

That's what I was thinking. I saw he played some TB in the Oklahoma still this spring (which I know doesn't mean much) and didn't look too bad.

You really have no idea what will happen if he has a good combine and workouts. He is due to graduate in the summer and had kids to provide for.

The only reason he has to stay is to provide depth to ease some fans minds going into the 2014 season.

Your hate is strong. Turner can improve his stock as well as Hilliard. No sense in discussing it with you as your well is poisoned. I'm sorry Les makes you such a hater

Don't try to tell these guys anything. In their mind it's all business. They don't think there's anyway a kid could just want to stay.

hilliard is one of those guys, kind of like turner, who can't improve his stock if he stays
I disagree, losing Hill and Blue will free up a lot more carries than Fournette will take. Even with Magee emerging, Miles wants big backs running to wear down defenses.

Hillard needs to treat this offseason like it is his last shot at the NFL (it probably is) and come into the fall in amazing shape.

not in any meaningful way

moving from a 6th to a 4th is negligible and the risk is great...the risk by far outweighs the potential reward

you honestly believe that our team is going to compete for a title after losing all of our offensive skill guys and our interior line?

RBs have track record of transitioning quickly out of HS. OL is different. Washington and Pocic are definitely solid SEC lineman so I think they can step in and not be a huge drop off.

They one thing in our favor is that Bama, TAMU, and OM will also be transitioning in new QBs. I think competing for an SEC title w/ a couple losses is the best we can hope for which isnt that bad.

Stop with the worry. If Hillard doesn't come back then maybe they use one of the guys mentioned but the staff knows more than we do

Im with you. Hilliard will get as many, or even more carries than LF. Unless he totally ruins it by coming in fat.

He probably wouldnt be drafted at all this year. But he definitely can become draftable with a solid season next year

three or four rb's should be plenty and we have other athletes for an emergency situation. I"d be more worried about the oline/dline getting banged up. if we can rebuild dominant line play at LSU then everything else falls into place. JMO.
