Not a big deal... most of these under class AA teams are pretty much a stat / glamour competition. The QB who got the player of the year isnt even a top 150 player in the nation, and only has offers from Washington, Boise, Utah, and Washington St. But he threw for over 5,000yards and a bunch of TDs. So they made him Player of the year for 2015.
The 2015 class wont be as highly regarded as 2014s class, but we got some big time players. Tyron Johnson, Brossette, Guice, Lewis, etc. Another good year for the state of LA.

"LSU is no. 1 for me and Ole Miss is second,” Peters said. “LSU has had Tyrann Mathieu, Morris Claiborne and Patrick Peterson, and I feel like I could follow in their footsteps and become a Tiger,” Peters said.
All i said was that he favors LSU. And thats what he said. Yea he has cousins at Ole Miss, but he is also only 2 hours from Baton Rouge. And said he doesnt feel like he has an "obligation" to certain schools because he grew up a big basketball fan and didnt watch that much football.
More wide open than people think. Also said he wants to decide where he goes before his senior year starts.

Early into his junior season, Peters told Rebels247 that he almost committed to Ole Miss on an unofficial visit but decided to wait. He later named LSU his leader shortly after taking an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge. He has since pulled back on that by declaring he has no favorites.
Peters knows plenty about Ole Miss, having made several visits to Oxford and playing ball with two 2014 Ole Miss commits in Alvin and Calvin Moore. The 6-3, 200-pound star says the Red and Blue is making a move.
"Ole Miss is looking really good to me right now," Peters declared. "I'm liking the Rebels a lot right now, but I don't have any favorites or anything like that."

He almost committed to Ole Miss before LSU even offered him.
Then we offered him, he visits, then says we are his leader.
And now, when its pretty quiet on the 2015 recruiting front because 2014 NSD is only a month away, he says he has no favorites.
Meaning its wide open. We have a shot at him. Do I think we land him? Not sure. But we are 1 of his top schools.
