Spending time with friends, one of whom has a son who had a traumatic brain injury. The kid is testing out at average levels academically at age 6. However, he's slow. Talks slow, moves slow, takes a while to process stuff. What kind of job can a person like this do when he grows up?

If he doesn't have any physical disabilities, something like landscaping.

Long way until he's ready for long term job. Just need to see how he develops.

My little brother and sister are mentally challenged. My brother worse than my sister. Both found jobs though. Don't know the exact name of the agency but there is one in LA that will help mentally challenged people find jobs.

My brother bags groceries at a grocery store and baby sis works at walmart(was a greeter when they still used them, now they have her restocking and doing other various tasks).

Both of them love their jobs and it's def better for them than sitting at home all day. Also helps out my parents since they are bringing in a lil bit of money(my brother and sister help pay for cable/internet and for any fun stuff they want to do). Even though they still live with my parents, having a job makes them feel a lil more independent.

Same here. My little brother has some physical and some less severe mental handicaps, but he's able to bag groceries, pick up buggies and do things around the grocery store in town.

He just really can't do things like drive or have his own place, although I think he might want to one day.

If

then he should be fine. There are some very below average fully functioning people in this world that are in positions of extreme power and importance.

He will have to work for it though.
