My modest proposal: After a TD, you have the option of a 40 yard FG, or a scrimmage play from the 10 yard line, for 3 points each.

Seems that there is a much higher chance of kicking a 40 yard FG.

Do you really need special teams anymore.
Why kickoff anymore, most are touchbacks just start at the 20/25 yard line for all drives.
XP's are kind of a waste of time, if you score a TD just award 7 points.

I say just make teams run a play from scrimmage from the 2 point spot. Award 1 point for making it.

i think it's fine because you still have the option to go for two from the same distance..
i don't like the idea of random kick a fg from a certain distance or attempt from another different difference..

I kind of like the idea of whoever scores the touchdown has to kick the extra point.
