There will also be a rise in homegrown weed within the state.

Oh.

The medical marijuana penny stock took off after the 1st, but is way down today.

Guess it's that ingrained resistance to holding that stoners have become conditioned to.

I think I see the pattern. Make dumb statement, wait for reasonable rebuttal, then respond with 'you're using that incorrectly'. Clever.

And yes, I'm pretty sure that 'rebuttal' was used correctly.

No, it wasn't.

Explain why your jimmies are rustled by what I posted in my first post. Thanks.

No, the was another post in which I asked you to be honest with yourself and think it through. Guess I forgot to hit post.

This is the giddy legalization run. As I said, it's a plant.

the law was little weird in how it was written for the beginning stages. Basically dealers were only able to set aside a small amount that was being used for there existing medicinal customers. They couldn't start growing plants for their recreational customers until Jan 1st. Supply is going to be very short until the first harvest comes in this spring. Prices will probably keep going up until then.

What am I being 'insensitive' about or 'slow to understand'?

I only repeated what other posters have opined about the price of illegal drugs if/when illegal drugs are legalized. No where have I expressed an opinion about the legalization of MJ.

Are all druggies as touchy as you are?

You said that THE REASON people said it should be legalized is because the price will go down. It wasn't THE REASON. It's a byproduct of legalization, but not in the top 10 of legitimate reasons to legalize.

Yes it will go down. How many stores were open the first day? 36? In the entire state? And how many people from around the country went to buy the first day? The demand will more or less stay the same in the long run (read: after the novelty and new found legality wears off). Supply on the other hand will continue to grow as the risk of going to jail has been greatly diminished.

Do you, as a champion financial guru, believe that prices will drop after the initial onslaught of purchases?
