Florida phase doesn't include mountains

Mountain phase (phase 2) is conducted in Dahlonega, GA. It entails mountains, mountains, as more mountains. Walking up the mountains conducting battle drills, it sucks and I have to do it again, it broke my body down worse then ever before.
Florida (phase 3) consists of conducting battle drills in the swamps. Haven't been yet. Both phase are 3 weeks long each, no sleep, no food.

68 guys recycled Mountains in class 2, 90 recycled Darby. It's been a blood bath.

Congrats to your son, much respect to him as well. Mountains has been one of the worst experiences but I will say that I felt like it wasn't that bad. Having to do it again, I now feel like it was that bad lol.

In the past I worked an ED in Dahlonega. I have seen rangers so tired they would sleep through broken bones with absolutely no pain meds. Much respect for anyone who goes through the ranger training.
