Watched Breaking Bad and loved it
Just finished Friday Night Lights yesterday and liked it.
I watched a few episodes of Walking Dead a while back and never could really get into it.

Thinking about House of Cards, Mad Men, Dexter, Twin Peaks, or Arrow.

Any other suggestions?

Arrow and Mad Men out of those. Dexter's first four seasons and then just stop. Hell on Wheels is a good one too but if you're not into Westerns, I'd probably skip it.

We have similar tastes and wife and I started mad men last week. Already through season 2. It's very well done and a great series.

Highly recommend

Very, very good.

House of Cards,

Started this, felt tedious after awhile. Never went back.

Arrow.

I skip all the romance, family stuff and just watch the action scenes. Decent show that could be better.

Also loved Breaking Bad and couldn't get into Walking Dead--really liked House of Cards and Mad Men. I thought you had to be a little more patient with Mad Men. House of Cards was must-binge for me after the first episode.

I was a little disappointed. Not funny enough to be a comedy but not serious enough for real drama or suspense.
