Will be the way he plays the rest of his career at LSU?

Seems to be a loud voice amongst you that what you see is what you get and that's it.

Amen. I don't think a lot of fans on here understand this, but the map is not the territory.

Agreed OP. Cam Cameron produces elite offenses. AJ will be fine.

This was a good day for him. Lots of experience, plenty of reps, no injuries.

He'll look a hell of a lot better in the Spring, and even better by next season.

So you don't think him basically regressing after prepping for the bowl for a month is cause for concern?

I would prefer to judge him on a dry field.

It looked like Cameron used the extra time to add blocking schemes against the Iowa linebackers and not a lot of new stuff for Jennings. I doubt we got any type of preview of next season at all.

Exactly

Jennings has the skills to compete and improve over time. Other incoming QBs will too, it'll be an open competition which is good overall.

^^^This.. It was his first start against a veteran defense in a bowl game. Plus it was a wet field. The guy made one mistake on the INT and people are saying he's JJ 2.0! He'll be much better by the start of next season with another 8 months of prep time and coaching from Cam. Looking forward to it.

To think that a single drive constitutes an adequate sample size AND to completely ignore it was his first start in unfamiliar environs AND to discount what might've been going on between his ears is dishonest at best.
