Looking for something kinda nice. Will be there next week.

Destin... HEAVILY overrated. A "resort" room for $150 a night with NO beach access or beach front: AKA: most of Destin. Just a bunch of chains in a tourist trap town with BAD traffic

Go to rosemary there are a bunch of nice restaurants there and it's not too terribly far away.

Similar suggestion. Drive across the Bay Bridge to Niceville/Valparaiso. Numerous locally-owned restaurants serving locally-caught seafood at very reasonable prices.

Go to Cuvée Bistro for a nice dinner close to Destin.
