In town until 1ish. Where should I have lunch that most likely does not have a website?

Do the locals think Stanley is a tourist trap? I kinda get that vibe. But Damn it's good

Just a way of saying that I want something great, off the beaten path. If I didn't have the kids with me I'd be taking a couple of lucky dogs down right now.

Elizabeth's in the Bywater is great and def off the beaten path. I've lived in NO virtually my entire life, and have never considered Stanley's to be a tourist trap. But, for Sun brunch, you'll probably have a long wait (esp since the Saints game is not until the late afternoon).

Raining so we didn't walk around. We went to Jimmy J's next to the Marriott.
Small, we lucked out and got there right as someone was getting up. Seafood and spinach omelet was great as were the pancakes. Over cooked, over easy eggs, but that was the only down fall. Good Bloody Mary, will go back. Thanks for all the suggestion. Get to them at a later date.
