If so then what do you wear? Got a lot of gift cards and need a new pair of sunglasses. I'm looking at the 580g's. Any thing better or just as good? Smiths, Maui Jim's, etc.

Maui Jim's, Ray Bans, and Costas here.

I like the Maui Jim's the best.

I've broken every pair I ever had except for my Berkley's.

of course you sport costas , i thought about you today when i ordered 500 rounds of federal 9mm.. i feel do dirty.. so dirty

but to answer the OP.. NO, i do not where costas, i'm just not a fan and like maui jims more than anything.. they have always been good to me and i'm loyal to them

I really don't have anything against Costas, just don't care for them

and maui jim are a much superior product

I have mauis and costas

Mauis are more comfortable bc they are lighter but they also feel more fragile

I wear them both about equally, just depends which ones I grab

My eyes aren't bad enough for LASIK and not good enough for no prescription. I've put prescription lenses in two different sets of frames once Maui Jim's and the other Ray Bans. The lenses you get just aren't them same as non-prescription and cost double or more than regular.

I have some Oakleys that I bought before I had a kid and a house payment. Probably the last "good" sunglasses I'll be buying for awhile.

580 silver mirror Zane costas on the water
Ray-Bans in social/everyday setting (aviators, wayfarer, new wayfarer)
Crossfire at the range.

I'm a sucker for shades.

As far as the costa/Maui Jim debate...nothing beats a 580 costa lens for seeing through water. Nothing

I've worn Costas, Mauis and Ray Bans, and now I'm on Kaenons.

I like the Kaenons the best of those. After that, I'd go back to Mauis, then Costas. I still wear Ray Bans but not for fishing or any outdoor activity, really.

Too many expensive pairs scratched and broken. I rock the 25 dollar Styleyes now. Polarized 25 dollar glasses ain't too shabby

I wear Natives. They are owned by the same company that produces COsta and are geared for the performance crowd. LINK

Native glasses are popular with mountain athletes, and they also make great ski goggles. Love mine
