I am going on a vacation starting Saturday to Steamboat Springs, CO. I'd really like to try some craft beers up there that you can't find around here, and also what stores will carry the best selection. Thanks for your help guys, and I'll be posting in the FBD threads almost daily

I cant help you much as I dont know the area, but if you cant find a good craft brew in Colorado you arent looking very hard.

I went to steamboat a few years back. I recall the selection there not being on par with other resorts in Colorado. I think this is because steamboat is so secluded from the typical resorts like Breckenridge and winter park. Anyway, I'm sure there are plenty of things to drink, just not sure what I went with.

Don't know what's available in LA, but I've had some solid beers from both Avery and Great Divide.

Everything that Great Diivide makes is damn good. There is a ton of craft beer made in CO. It can't be hard to find.

Laundry Restaurant and Truffle Pig both have a good selection of unique beers.

When you get there, just ask any of the locals....cab driver, hotel front desk, liquor store clerk. Everyone in that town is super friendly and can probably offer you more options than you'll know what to do with.

Nah not going to the Music Fest, not that I don't want to but I'm going the week before 12-28-1/4. That would be an awesome time though it seems

Nice groove, it reminds me of the Third Coast Music I used to hear on KSYM in San Antonio.

Where, um, I used to enjoy great food and drink.

The town is pretty much one street just west of the Mtn. Wonder around, you'll find something. Just go to ride that champagne powder. I thought I was gonna drown there last year the pow was so deep. It's a big Mtn with good snow and a fun town. If flying into Denver and driving stock up at applejacks as you get into Golden.
