Just finished Man of Steel. Not bad

I've never been into Superman that much, but a few things about this movie were legit.
**i don't know how the backstory/origin was supposed to be***
I enjoyed seeing how he came to be on this planet, and how things were when he was a kid/young adult.
I thought the first hour was really interesting.
Solid flick on a comic story I never gravitated to.
I enjoyed it. Is there going to be a 2nd one?
Also, Fishburne has gained a 100+ lbs. Holy shite.

The sequel will have both Superman and Batman, though Batman will now be played by, I shite you not, Ben Affleck.

I saw it over the weekend. I was a huge Superman fan as a kid, so I rented it even though it got bad reviews and Superman Returns was dull. But I thought this was pretty good. The casting was just about perfect. And there were some big action scenes.

i liked the origin story and him wandering the world. Shoulve showed him in Africa like the comics. he had a badass beard and that soundtrack

I will say, the actor playing Superman was pretty spot on in my head.
And though Adams wouldn't have been my first choice for Lois Lane, she fine.
I won't lie, I thought the movie was pretty good.
Costner even delivered as the human dad.

Gad you enjoyed the movie. It's really the Superman movie we've been waiting decades for.

I loved it when I saw it in the theaters.
Then I watched Returns again last weekend and MOS this week and while I do enjoy the back half of Returns, MOS blew it out the water.
After watching MOS again, I'm actually a little aggravated that we won't be getting a strictly Superman MOS sequel and that WB will be adding in Batman/Wonder Woman.
That's Powergirl yo. And don't give me any "technically her and Supergirl are the same person" balogna.
