Hate to be so picky, but I really wish we had another top notch OL or two on this list.

Otherwise, it looks to hit the spot at the need positions of RB, WR, and especially the secondary.

With a more agile QB at the helm, that alone will help tOL look much better.

Brumfield and Clapp are undoubtedly top notch Oline recruits man, come on! If we close with Derrick Kelly, which I think we do, itll be a great Oline class.

I will say that if we dont close with Travonte Valentine and lose Clark without replacing him with another stud pass rusher then the Dline will be a dissapointment in this class. Even though Wilis and Godchaux are monsters, and last year's class had alot of depth and talent on the Dline. All the secondary players wont be able to shine like they should without a stout Dline in front of them!

Forget Lorenzo Carter, LSU should be trying to flip this LC from Miss State (Logan Cooke) LINK

With the way the college game is evolving, Les did a great job bringing in all these quality DB's.

tOL is more worrisome imo than tDL but we should be ok up front either way.

I just wish we had a better pipeline to where great OLineman come from because that's about all LSU had fallen short on as of late.

With all the LSU talent in tNFL, only a couple are OLineman.

We got some good ones. No srs on the line, we have depth there now with talented players. The guys in this class probably wouldn't see the field as true frosh anyway. With pocic, Dodd and boutte they have some guys to beat out to even see the field in 15.

not as balanced as it could be. Not enough of the big guys (OL and DL) but plenty of the little guys (QB, RB, WR, TE, LB, and DB's). Class could wind up with only 4-5 guys over 270 lbs.

If we get Kelly we will have the same number of OL that the staff intended on signing. I think they would take two more DL, even if that means KY getting left out, which I don't think happens.

All depends on what happens on Jan 2nd, mainly what happens with GWIII, Speedy, and Adams.

Get Adams, Brown, Speedy, Willis, and LF, that puts us at 21. 4, maybe 5 spots left, although I think Shea said they are only planning on 25. Count on Malachi as well, so now 3/4 spots. Get all those names, and we can sign some linemen, offense and defense, and have a pretty well rounded class.

So 3/4 spots for
Kelly
Young
Valentine
Speaks
Carter
A Jackson

Man I cant wait for the 2nd!!

As always, we will lose a few current commitments.

Brown
Young
LF
Malachi Dupre
Speedy
Willis
Adams

These guys are for sure in the class IMO... Then you have on te fence guys that won't be turned away like:

Adoree
Carter
Kelly
Valentine

I think we get at least 2 of those, maybe 3. And we don't know what will happen with Hootie and LSU.

Looks like it's going to be Kelly or this Rodriguez guy. Les really likes Rodriguez for some reason? I mean I trust him just don't know enough to say he's good at this or that? Anyone know what he looks like?

Just hold on, Les has a top OL in his sights out of Houston who committed to Colorado. He's a 2 star and with Stud as OL coach I think we can flip him.

Maybe Rodriguez reminds Les of himself at Michigan where he was important in carrying the clipboard on the sideline. Kidding.

You know he's a 2 star but so was Jacob Hester. So Les could be discovering another Honey Badger.

I would narrow it down a bit and say that a glaring weakness is OT, since we don't have one in this class. I think tackle is one position that must be included in each class. Such an imperative position to the offense.
