Miles vs. the AP Coach of the Year

The last 16 AP coach of the year award winners were in the Advocate this morning. While at LSU, Miles is 10-7 against these coaches:

3 5 Nick Saban (2003, 2011)
3 1 Tommy Tuberville (2004)
0 1 Joe Paterno (2005)
1 0 Gary Patterson (2009)
1 0 Chip Kelly (2010)
1 0 Gus Malzahn (2013)

Not too many coaches claim they have a winning record vs. Saban, so if you remove him, Miles is 7-2.
Not bad.

Nick Saban won it the year we beat them and were undefeated?

Two years removed from playing for the title. How many teams can say that?
LSU football today is light years ahead of many elite programs and not to mention, it's a lot of fun than ever before, let alone the 90s.

Yeah cus 18 year olds are NFL ready. And we don't even have the best facilities in our division let alone the country.
But I forget Miles isn't a good coach.

If y'all are happy with chicken bowls and outback bowls for 4+ million a year then good for y'all. I've ended each of the last 3 years with a sour taste in my mouth and expect the same in 14 after 5-6 underclassmen bolt, but y'all are right. It's better than the 90s, so we should all be happy. Miles is awesome!
