Surely UT has a plan of some sort right?

I know the whole Saban story or whatever you want to call it, but wtf are they doing? Are they really just letting no one run the program right now? This whole situation is just bizarre.

all big time programs have a plan. They are running interference through a search firm so that UT can say they have their hands clean if someone who is currently at a good gig (like AU or FSU or OSU etc) is contacted to gage their interest. It is the dead period so folks are not in a huge amount of hurry at this point.

just go back and look at the LSU search before we hired CLM- rumors, coaches saying NO not me , speculation-
and then the coach we hired - everyone said WHO???
UT may hire Saban- which I think is near impossible proportions or they will go through the process and every one will say WHO? why him?

What is bizarre is we all think we know what is going on behind the scenes because of internet rumors, tweets, ESPN commentary and the like.
We actually know nothing at all, but we comment like they are idiots because we think we know their actions when actually we know nothing at all.
