Going to have the Akorn and Kamado Joe going the same time.

Brisket in Kamado Joe and whole chickens in Akorn.

What you got going this weekend?

a very good chance that a boatload of Otis and Geauxt's parish wide, semi-famous hog head cheese will be made,, or, at least rumor has it..

Kids/grandkids coming in from out of town. Odds are there will be a lot of large one-pot meals next week. Tacos, spaghetti, roast, etc.

Prime rib for Christmas dinner !

well, we don't do it for resale, just for our consumption and for some holiday presents. but, if you ever happen to be in the nawfeast part of our great state, we tend to enjoy sittin' down to some hhc, a few saltines, and sipping on a jar of shine, or 2. visitors are always welcome..

The weather warmed up a bit so I bought some ribs and chicken thighs to grill. Then the skies opened up and the deluge came. It's gonna rain all day.

So, I cut the ribs up and tossed them in the crock pot with the chicken. Threw in some spices and BBQ sauce and letting it cook all day.
