I'm at Gander Mountain looking to get the E7 but they've got the 200G7. Is there a difference or is it about the same?

TIA.

They don't make the Curado E7 anymore. The G took its place, and is made in Mslaysia vs. the E7 being made in Jaoan. It's OK, but not the real the E7 is. The Chronarch E7 is essentially the same real as the Curado E7

Thanks. They have a Chronarch E5 here. Thoughts?

The number just represents the gear ratio (5:1, 7:1, etc...), which determines how much line the reel takes up with each turn of the handle. I've got a 5 I throw deep diving crankbaits with. If you're not buying for a specific application, I would get the E7

Thanks again.

Last thing. I also came her looking for a Veritas but no luck. They still make those, right? They've got the Vendetta and Elite.

I think they're still made. I don't use Abu rods so I'm not 100% sure on that. Check Tackle Warehouse

Try FishFreakonline.com

I've had good luck finding Falcon rods that I can't find locally in Baton Rouge. Their prices are pretty good too, and some times they offer free shipping.
