Office Christmas party. The girl catering this year is bad to the bone. Should be good. Plenty of beer and vino. No whiskey :(

Lucy is about to wake up. She will opt for Pasta. I'm going with leftover chicken thighs and rice. Thawing some shrimps for tomorrow. Will do a stir fry after golf.

She probably won't eat it so I'll get some Podhuhs BBQ on the way home.

Just how good can a grilled cheese sandwich be?

Wife is picking up some BBQ and brining it home. This will be the first I've eaten since Tuesday evening after an intense battle with the flu.

Nope. Never made one with tomatoes. I would eat one with tomatoes though and probably like it. While I can make a better gumbo than you and most people in the world, I'm not a gumbo purist. If it's food and good I will eat it.

I like to make mine with artisan bread, lots of butter & preferably a smoke cheddar or a quality provolone.

A few pics of the caterer wouldn't kill anybody.

Maybe OG, Otis, Meridian....but who knows? It could add a few years.

Anyway, get some damn pics in this thread balls.

So does it still qualify as a grilled cheese sammich?

I was going to have leftovers from the chopped challenge, but maybe I'll have a good grilled cheese.

When made with really good sourdough bread and an imported French Gruyere it can be great.
