UNO home/away on fri and sat and Grambling on sunday????

This is an absolute joke.

Then we get the combo of Texas Southern, Toledo, and VT

Yale

Purdue

Just hot stinking garbage.

Pauldred Mainieri doesn't play good OOC on the reg. Get used to it. He has a lot of connections around the country to pay back by giving them some warm weather games.

Weekends are meh. In conference is tough enough. It's the shitty midweek games that really kill our RPI

Not that I disagree but weren't both VT and Purdue pretty good last year? Not sure about their current talent.

We're attempting to assist the rebooting of their program and the opening of their new stad.

If so, don't care. He's not our coach.

Thought it was becuase they're re-opening Maestri field. Paul is throwing his alma mater and his former coach a bone. I don't have a problem with it.

The UNO stadium is being rededicated on Saturday to Ron Maestri, Paul Mainieri's college coach.

While it's very unusual to have an away game on the opening weekend, Mainieri wanted to do it so that a big crowd would be there to honor his old coach.

VT is part of a round robin. But, we only play 1 game vs them. They were good last year.
