Oversweet oversauced strips of cabbage and carrots in a condiment plastic container.

Is that before or after the bread, fries and chicken?

What didn't you get about the comment?

The toast has 120 cal, the slaw has 33. I don't think 87 calories is going to make a giant difference in a your waistline unless you eat it 3 times a day.

take note: everyone that answers your question admits to eating canes

Again, what didn't you get about the comment?
You just backed up his claim.

Probably that you're not overly worried about your waistline if you're eating a meal with over 1000 calories already.

Well no shite. And if you eat slaw to be "healthy" you're an a-hole.
Still doesn't change the fact that was stated by R2R

I think you must be misreading the OP and the comment.
OP says, what am I missing out on.
R2R says a smaller waist line. Meaning if he ate the slaw instead of the other things which are more calorie dense, he would have a smaller waste line.
