How would this work outside of RJ stadium? Is it like any other game with scalpers? I've seen some on Stubhub for $75. Anyone else think they would be cheaper outside stadium?

About 20 bucks for the lower level if I had to guess. And that's being generous. I imagine if you go to a bar in Tampa on the 31st and put forth a little effort, you'd end up with fist-fulls of tickets being given to you.

I don't see why not. There is no local interest to drive anyone in Tampa to want to attend the game, so I imagine there will be few buyers and many sellers outside of the stadium.

LSU has said they've sold half their allotment, but won't pin down a number, so I'd guess they've sold a good bit less than half.

Iowa has nearly sold theirs, but even still you're looking at about 16K tickets being sold by the two schools. There are going to be TONS of tickets available.

The Sugar bowl, which is a much bigger game, in a better location, usually has a really soft secondary market when anybody but LSU, Bama, and maybe a small handful of others are there. I can only imagine what the Outback bowl has.

LSU is giving student tickets away, and running promotional giveaways in connection with the game. There are going to be tickets everywhere.

No not for $20 , maybe at half time that would be the price . But you could get cheaper tickets outside before the game . Guess it depends on your negotiating skills

What about 80 bucks for 2 tickets. Would that be difficult?

Keep this up and LSU will revive its reputation as a poor travel team outside of Sugar and Cotton.

I'm more concerned about our ability to move around inside the stadium to empty seats. Hoping the ushers aren't nazis.

I'm still so pissed at the TS Nazis from the LA Tech game several years ago. It poured buckets before kickoff and kickoff was moved back several hours. By the 4th QTR I was one of maybe 20,000 left in TS. I tried to move up high in the North End Zone from row 2 on the 20. Blocked by a Nazi. Will always be pissed. Always.

Only someone from Louisana would say New Orleans is a better location than Tampa. Wow.

What's so funny? NOLA is a destination city, unlike Tampa and is only behind Las Vegas as the premier convention site in North America.
