Why do people think Harbaugh or Shaw will go to Texas?

Why would Jim Harbaugh leave the 49ers to coach fricking Texas? 
Its the fricking 49ers!
Now for David Shaw. Do people not understand that he played for Stanford? His dad coached at Stanford and mostly he is a west coast elitist. Even though Austin is this "liberal oasis" its still one of the most racist places in fricking Texas and that's saying something. So please tell me why are these names even considered?

Not to mention Harbaugh's season won't be over until the second or third week of January, which cuts into critical recruiting time.

Timing makes it almost impossible to get an NFL guy. If Mack had stayed on, I could see him resigning later if Texas could get a Harbaugh in mid to late January. But, there is no way Texas can wait that long now. I think Shaw would be a home run, but if he wants big money, he will go to the NFL.

Harbaugh might not like the pro game. Sure he has done well, but it might just not be the job for him

Texas could pay him big and I am not sure how much the Niners would be willing to pay to keep him. Harbaugh at Texas would be scarey. Think Stanford but with 10X the athletes. That being said, don't see it happening.
