Is there a coach out there who could consistently challenge Nick Saban?

In the wake of "He stayin'" I've given a little thought to LSU's future in the SEC-West.. and I'm willing to admit it's pretty terrifying thinking about CNS being at Bama for another decade (or more).
This led me to ponder this: Is there any way we could get a coach who could consistently challenge and beat Saban? Les started out like he could but has regressed in recent years. Mahlzan did it this year (and sort of in 2010) but both of those can be attributed to fluke experiences.
I posted this here because it's not exactly an LSU discussion per se.

Urban Meyer is the only coach I've ever thought could compete truly head-to-head with Saban. I really thought that was going to be the Hayes-Schembechler of the modern era but then he just ran off

Les has very well. But lets just forget these head-to-head record thingys.
Bama has a had an absurd run, but everything fades. AJ, CJ, and some OL leaving will not be easy. They will compete for SEC West title every year, but I don't think they will win the National title more than 1 more time.

Coaches.... Doubtful
It's the freaky good QBs (Tebow, Cam, JFF) that can give Saban problems, but they obviously won't be around long on an individual level.
There might be 1-2 of those guys around in a given year.
A Bama/FSU matchup would have been great, but Auburn got luckier than a motherfricker, and we get to watch them get smoked instead.

Spurrier is 3-1 against him? 
2-0 while at UF-LSU and 1-1 while at SC-Bama.

These up temp offenses that focus on a lot of misdirection honestly seem to be giving his defenses fits, so guys like Sumlin and Malzahn come to mind.
And I think you're going to see Alabama take a little step back next year with all they are losing and Auburn should be much improved on both sides of the ball, so Malzahn might be able to get up to 2-0

Saban isn't infallible like you chicken littles make him out to be. His decisions in the Auburn game likely cost them the national championship this year. If not for Oklahoma State herp derping in 2011, Saban's decisions in the LSU game would have cost them a national championship. The guy has his frick ups that are overshadowed by success.
They've had great success the last few years but nothing lasts forever. CFB teams have their ups and downs. See: Miami, Nebraska, USC, Texas, Ohio State, Michigan.

Geez. Sure he's a great coach, but it's taken every bit of luck Saban can muster to have this run. Nothing lasts forever, and this shite runs in cycles. Saban is not going to be there for another decade, and he's not going to have the success he had these last four years. Next year is a rebuilding year for them with a new QB who has looked extremely shaky in his limited action so far.

If Texas would make a great hire, that coach could compete with Saban.
Tejas gets it's choice of top recruits, and doesn't have to leave the state.

True, but even those games were close until late. Les has done well against Nick. Hopefully, it stays this way.

To get to the the 2011 BCS title game it was Saban, not Miles that needed other teams to lose. Last year Saban had a better team that took control in the 2nd half, I guarantee Saban and his staff are honest enough to know the game was tougher than the final score indicates. Remember LSU gave up an easy TD with a fumble in the EZ and gave Bama a free FG with a muffed snap.

But when teams have extra time to prepare for them, they don't do so well, which is why they struggle in bowl games.
