Why I want Saban to stay at Bama

1- I'm not scared of the fence going down.
2- I'm not scared of competition.
*3- I really, really get juiced for games that stretch us to our limits to win.
4- I only like being the best when I've beaten the best.
5- We are only at our best when we can't slip an inch or we turn into UF, UT or AUB - irrelevant for a few years.
6- NO JC Copeland to screw it up next year!
Screw Bama and bring on 11/8/14!!
ETA: * - apparently so does Miles, which is why we play to the level of our competition so much argh

well he is gone, ot posters family lives in austin and they are throwing a party for saban and his family this christmas

Copeland's frickup completely changed the tone of that game. The miscues between Mett and the center cemented it.
Spilled milk at this point but those plays put us in a huge hole. You can't frick up like that against a team like Bama and have much hope of winning the game.

Saban has forced everyone (including Les) to find another gear. He went out and got Chief, Now Cam. We have to fight hard every year for recruits, no resting on laurels. His next big task is to figure out how to get the guys not to sleepwalk at certain points during the season. Here's to Les winning in Tuscaloosa. Here's to solving the JFF problem, solving The Gus Bus, to solving whatever is 'next'. Here's to Les getting back to ATL. To enterig CFB playoff as conference champion.

I do think the game would lose some of it's luster if he was gone. Here's to hoping we dont have to worry about that for awhile.
