You know, I really didn't get pissed at all because of that face mask. I think Morestead has built up tons of "positive Saint credit" due to his punting and kickoffs to offset at least 10+ facemask calls...

Our interpretation is we give a player a ‘minus’ on a penalty, and we're not giving Morestead a minus on this one. I think he made a great play and didn’t get the result.

First I have heard of fining a guy for a facemask penalty.

Pretty brutal facemask.

Glad the dude wasn't injured.

But Morestead basically saved a TD.

The only thing better than saving the TD was the over the top reaction of the panther fans to the play.

Meh, I have seen worse facemasks that weren't even called. Vikings versus Bush comes to mind.

Morstead needs to learn to get his game under control. He's outta control every week and it's costing us. We need to look for a new Punter next year!

You know we would have shut this board down if that had happened to a saint.

I would have been fine with a fine and penalty. That play has happened before and will happen again

Came soon after another annoying "pick up flag for the panthers" again. So it felt like a good "frick you".

Notice the fine wasn't disclosed? Why wasn't it?
Because he's a punter they probably took it really easy on him. 10k or less likely.
But they don't want that getting out.

I think there is actually a set fine for it between 7-8k

If we fanned up and paid the fine would we be fined and suspended from the league for a year for our own bountygate?
