Just saw this update. Thought some may be interested. I forgot he was still on a roster. Good for him.

St. Louis Rams OT Joseph Barksdale was back to the bench in Week 14 against the Arizona Cardinals after starting 12 games. OG Harvey Dahl (knee) was back from injury after missing four games, and he stared at right guard. OT Rodger Saffold, who had been at right guard for the past three games, slid over to right tackle. 'Generally speaking, we're not going to demote a guy because of injury,' head coach Jeff Fisher said Monday, Dec. 9. 'We wanted to get Harvey an opportunity to play. He worked hard to come back.'

Barksdale looks like an All-Pro when he's in a three-point stance. It's what happens after the ball is snapped that makes him a below average option. The Rams have some talent, but they need some help up front.

Good, the Saints D could benefit from some false starts this Sunday.

I've read variations on Barksdale's play being "surprisingly competent" on a few different sites. sounds like he's at least made himself a viable rotation type guy.
