Just left a showing of the movie. It was great. Not anything groundbreaking or incredible, but a really well done film. The acting was phenomenal (as expected). I definitely recommend.

I've seen articles saying Jennifer Lawrence will probably get nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.

She stole the show and completely overshadowed Amy Adams IMO. Definitely would deserve it. I wish she had more screen time than she did.

originally that character wasn't even in the movie as much until David O. Russell asked Lawrence if she'd like to be in the movie and he expanded her character

Amy Adams was fantastic ..... Jennifer Lawerence's character was over the top and frankly a bit annoying. The movie was good but far from great. Wolf of Wall Street tomorrow .... Expecting a better film

Amy Adams character was not over the top at all ..... Bale was fantastic as well.
Was really excited to see it a few weeks ago but it fell flat to me.

I'm really looking forward for this. Anything set in the 1970s with gangsters or con men is right in my wheelhouse. Amy Adams and Jennifer Lawrence as 70s babes is just icing on the cake.

Zero Dark Thirty was my #1 film of the year last year and I completely disagree. I thought Chastain was solid in the film but I never understood why she was getting that much love. Jennifer Lawrence on the other hand was simply fantastic. I fell in love with her performance.
