Heading to Austin this weekend. Looking for recs.

We're going to Austin this weekend form my gf's 30th and meeting up with some friends on Saturday. Looking for a nice dinner Friday night and fun drinking spots for Saturday.
We're staying at the Omni Downtown so we'll be in the downtown area.

I was there a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed Eastside Showroom and Shangri-La on E 6th. Kung Fu downtown was pretty fun too.

Also try Maria's Taco Express on S. Lamar. They have killer tacos. I ate migas there 3 mornings in a row.

Maria's al pastor taco is good but there are far better taco places in Austin. Go to Torchys or Tacodeli if you want some of the best tacos you'll ever have.
