Camp in MS Delta
No cell service ever inside or out around camp. One 5 foot spot a mile down road you can sometimes get a signal.
This might be awesome sometimes but I currenly have an infant at home and my job require me to be available (although not very often) for decision making, judgement calls, and emergencies.
I now have two sometimes three bars IN MY CAMPER and 3G. Im posting from the camp now and have not yet dropped a call.
This has been an awesome deal for me and I can relax more knowing somebody isn't trying to track me down.
Thought one of you jackasses would find this helpfull.
ETA: $99 at Best Buy

Been looking for one for my camp in Gloster, Ms. Does it require Internet or a phone line? Most of the ones that I've seen do. The few that don't, have shitty reviews.

No internet or phone line.
It connects to an antenna you stick outside and run the cable inside. Then plugs in an outlet. Your phone has to stay in the little cradle thing so its a little clumsy unless you have a blutooth but the signal is definately there and strong. Its has been an awesome deal for me.

You can also get one for your truck. We used to park my buddy's right close to the camp, and it would pick up service for inside.
Get a wireless one with a directional Yagi antenna. Aim at tower and go to town. Gonna spend a little more, but it will work much better

Those may be great also.
This close to Christmas, my camp budget is kinda light so this one was the cheapest I could find that had good enough riviews and so far it paying off.

I think the cheaper ones are for places where a good signal is present SOMEWHERE near. The more expensive ones suck it in better and output more

we have zboost, its more expensive but gives you a larger service area.

Very interested. What's the power source?

Thats what I need. I am technology retarded. I can get very little to no service inside. I can walk outside and stand on a stump and get enough service to make a phone call.
What do I need to get phone calls inside?

Bought the $15.00 one on eBay-don't bother-jokes on me.
Would like to know where to buy.

We have a Wilson cell phone booster at my camp that didn't have any service before & now we get 3 bars. It's for multible phones but cost more than the single

Wilson Sleek at Amazon.com
This is what I have. It has been the exact solution I need on the cheap. Best Buy also has them in stock.
It is made for the car but the power cable is a USB so its easily adaptable.
Take it for what its worth guys. Just sharing what is working for me.

Model # is 801247. Regular priced $299 on sale now at Best Buy for $239
Thing with this type is you can be outside and still get good service

I know a guy that lives in Gloster that had to get one. Same results as you, no service to 3G.

Decent range? I assume so because you said outside. Also, does it just take the signal outside and move it inside or boost it?
