Seeing all these projections, why is Oklahoma projected in the BCS (mainly Sugar against Bama) and not Oregon?

Oregon probably wouldn't bring as many fans to NOLA as Oklahoma

Oregon would travel to watch their team play Alabama.

No one gives a shite about Oklahoma playing Alabama.

Because they played today and won. Mental midgets have a short attention span and forgot Oregon existed.

Oregon will be selected over Oklahoma.

Because these projections are based on conversations with the people who are making the decisions. So, they kind of have an idea.

Oregon beat absolutely no one this year and Oklahoma just got done beating a Top 10 Oklahoma State team in their house.

That's why 10-2 Oklahoma is going to the Sugar Bowl over 10-2 Oregon.

I went to Norman several years ago to see that shite. I would love revenge. But Oregon would be nice as well

Alabama will get housed by Oregon if they show up like they did after 2008.

Because Oregon fans are too good for consolation BCS bowl games, just like their team.

Oregon got too big for their britches. Their old hat now. OU will be excited to go to Nola.

It's all about the money and helping your bowl partners. The Big 12 will be a future tie in for the Sugar after the national semifinal next season. The SEC will play the Big 12 every year in the Sugar Bowl (called the Champions Bowl) starting in 2015.
