Anyone have an idea why NG just took off?? At work and can't really do too much research. Not complaing, I'm in at 2.69. Just curious.

No idea why but I had some at 2.90 and 2.75 I just sold for 3.00.

Sold my UGAZ position yesterday after the quick run up. Made 10% and I'm out until after the report tomorrow. Expect another low number as most of the country was in above average temps last week.

You seem to be an experience trader. Yesterday I bought into BBL, UWTI, UCO, and UGAZ. I did a good bit of research before committing, but what is your opinion of these long term investments? This is my first market investment other than my ESPP. Obviously I didn't invest more than I could afford since I'm just getting my feet wet.

I day trade UGAZ and DGAZ for fun. This was not possible before Robinhood (commissions would've eaten any profits made). I do not hold these for any more than a day or two if I can avoid it. My long term investments are all mutual funds held in retirement accounts or stuff like that.

Me either. I know that I don't know what I'm doing so I didn't get in over my head. I actually have only $100 invested in UGAZ and DGAZ. This was a smart move on your part.

No idea what to do at this point. UGAZ is so low right now it just makes sense to buy here but then again I don't see any cold weather that will cover a good portion of the nation. I know the NE will see an Arctic blast but that is strictly for the extreme NE US. The rest of the country will see average to above average temps the next 10 - 12 days. The Warren Buffet phrase comes to mind here... Be greedy when evryone else is fearful.

It's PPS. Could easily see more downside but I would have to think we are near the bottom on oil/NG.
